There are two bars in the hotel.
The “1846” lounge and bar is primarily used by residents and restaurant diners and is “named” in recognition of the year that The Royal was first established as a hotel. It has recently been elegantly restyled and refurbished.
The Sports Bar which as the name indicates
has a distinctive sports theme, very much designed around
the success of the Bath rugby team and other sports. This
bar is popular with local sporting enthusiasts and has a
delightful "buzz".
There is an extensive range of excellent
home made bar snacks
and light meals
served from 12 noon to 9pm daily in
the lounge bar. Both bars feature real ales in addition to a full range
of other drinks.
Freshly made coffees – cappuccinos, lattes and espresso – and tea, together with pastries and sandwiches are available throughout the day. |
