Our resident General Manager, Mike MacDermid, is fully involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel and this personal attention extends to the restaurant, which has an enviable reputation for excellent food, specialising in "great steaks" using only mature British beef, and including grilled chicken, fish, vegetarian dishes and a daily choice of chef's specials.
At lunch and early evening there is an excellent two course fixed price menu with a wide choice of dishes for only £9.95 or you can simply choose individually priced dishes from the a la carte.
The wine list contains an excellent selection of European and New World wines with at least ten being available by the glass and a number being priced at £17 or less per bottle – we genuinely believe that our wine list is the best value quality list in town.
Whether you select a fixed meal or eat a la carte, you will enjoy the same high quality of food and service in a friendly and very attractive restaurant, which is fully air-conditioned. Most dishes are freshly cooked to order to ensure that we maintain maximum quality.
