Beautiful Bath ...... the gateway to the lovely Cotswolds
Our Restaurant - Brasserie Brunel
Casual dining in a French style brasserie setting with a menu to match,
Our newly refurbished restaurant is located in the lovely Grade II listed building designed by the famous architect Isambard Kingdom Brunel and we have named our new dining venue in tribute to this famous designer.
The decor and furnishings have been modelled on a traditional Parisian brasserie and the menu features a number of French specialities together with grills, including steaks, for which we are renowned. Wherever possible our food is sourced locally including our steaks from the highly respected Church Farms and the majority of dishes are freshly produced by a first class team of cooks. The menu represents excellent value for money and in addition to the extensive range of very competitively priced a la carte dishes we also offer two fixed price menu options namely, £9.95 for 2 courses and £12.95 for 3 courses.
Open from 12 noon until 10 p.m.

Absolutely flawless! My other half is French and fussy, and he had only good things to say about this restaurant!
"Very good meal”
The food was really good. The service is excellent too.The waiters know what they are doing and food was brought to us quickly. The food was tasty, I had a steak and it was well cooked. We were there on a Friday night and I know they were full. Prices were reasonable and the wine list - whilst not extensive is adequate. Location, right opposite the railway station, right next to a taxi rank. If I was in Bath for a few nights, I would certainly visit again.
"Lovely meal. Lovely staff. Lovely venue”
The food was tasty, there was a variety of foods. We were here using a Wowcher deal from the sister hotel Bailbrook Lodge. We enjoyed every aspect of the meal from the moment we sat down.
"Exquisite dining ”
The food here definitely tickles the taste buds. The staff are attentive but let you enjoy your meal without interruptions. Neither of us could fault the dishes we had. I had Asparagus, then braised shoulder of beef followed by a passion fruit compote which was fabulous. My partner had mushroom soup, then pork tenderloin followed by Eaton mess. The food is all fresh and full of flavour.
"Lovely Menu & Staff”
Really nice menu here and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Left here very satisfied.
"Excellent Restaurant in the city centre”
Enjoyed the 3 course fixed menu. This was £12.95 and was excellent value. Highly recommend this both for food and service with added benefit of being opposite Bath Spa train station
