We stayed for one night on 3rd December. We’ve been to The Royal several times before and never had a bad experience. The hotel is situated opposite the railway station where there is a taxi rank, although the hotel will arrange one for you, and just along the road from the bus station, and is an easy walk to shops, and other attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and we’ve never had a problem with street noise, there is a varied choice on the dinner and breakfast menus and we’ve always found the service excellent, the staff are always friendly and efficient. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bath, and are very much looking forward to our stay there over Christmas.
