We spent 2 days and one night being delighted and spoilt at every opportunity by the friendly staff at The Royal. A special mention to Heidi, the Hotel Receptionist who checked us both in and out. “You young lady are a delight and obviously enjoy your job; the best welcome we have ever encountered, friendly, knowledgeable and calming”. The Beverage staff were all friendly and the food was surprisingly high end. Additionally Covid protocols were followed to the letter! We shall come back as your beautiful City kept throwing us extra things to discover and 2 days was not enough.
