Excellent stay for one night at the Royal Hotel! First, the location was perfect, across the street from the train station and only a few minutes’ walk from the center of town. They allowed us to leave our luggage there after we checked out, so that we could sightsee and take a late afternoon train.

The staff was friendly and helpful; we paid for breakfast, which was excellent, with a huge range of choices.

The room itself was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. They had arranged it as requested (two twins), and it had everything you might need. It was quiet even though next to the train station.

I would certainly stay here again if in Bath.
