The staff at the Royal Hotel makes this a special place to stay, from reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. I had booked a car space but when my husband and I arrived in the car park there wasn’t a space due to some of the other cars not parking correctly but the lady on reception resolved the issue immediately. A true professional. Our room was super clean, the bed very comfy with lovely bed linen and we liked the added touch of a fan, which was very much appreciated. I love the extra touch of proper coffee which is always a treat The meals in the restaurant were of a very high standard and the staff very attentive, but not overly so. And just one final thing – we felt absolutely safe with the hotel’s safety precautions during these exceptional and unprecedented times. The gold coloured hand sanitisers blended in with the hotel’s surroundings beautifully. My husband and I will return again.
