We arrived on a train and only had to cross the road from the station to enter the hotel. The hotel is located only a short walk from the centre.
We were welcomed with cream tea. They went out of their way to serve me with gluten free scones. Thank you very much for that!
There was nothing that I could think of that could be added to their breakfast menu. So much choice!
We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, and it was cooked to perfection! Staff was made aware of my dietary needs, and the kitchen made sure that I had suitable options to choose from.
The hotel is very well maintained, clean and at Christmas time it was beautifully decorated.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Very relaxing atmosphere.
