Just spent 2 days at The Royal and they have done a fantastic job with their reopening post lockdown. The hotels procedures make you feel safe without being restrictive. Staff wore masks and there was plenty of sanitizer around but the ambiance has not been lost. We had dinner and breakfast in the brassiere and both were excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and distancing measures were subtle so it felt welcoming. The menu had great variety and food was delicious and really good value. Well done to the Hotel and it’s staff in these difficult and strange times.
