Bath Boating Station

Bath is one of those cities that makes you feel all quaint, and in the mood to enjoy simple, old fashioned pursuits amidst its quintessential charms. As luck would have it, there’s plenty of opportunity to indulge in the elegant pleasures of yesteryear, and the Bath boating station is just the place to start.

Bath boating station is open between Easter and October and it offers boat hire by the hour. Show off your rowing skills with a saunter out on the water and view the land from a different perspective, and if you’re visiting Bath with children treat them to a stint on the water they’ll never forget. Don’t worry if you don’t have much faith in your rowing skills, the staff are happy to offer free hour-long lessons to anyone who wants one to get them started.

The boating station is found on a picturesque stretch of river that leads out to the toll bridge at Bathampton, and it makes for a scenic spot for an adventure on the water. We know that you’ll want to relax during your visit to the city as well as have fun, and the Royal Hotel offer Bath spa breaks – so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to soothe your tires arms after your visit to the boating station.
