The spa city of Bath has its very own brewery, specialising in quality ales made using traditional methods paired with the latest of technology. Bath Ales was established in 1995 and has flourished due to their commitment and passion for ale. With 13 different craft ales now for sale the brewery is among a handful of quality producers in the country and distributes their ales in their own public houses and via their online store.

Lovers of ale will appreciate the hard work that it takes to produce and mature the ales, the skill to put them together and efforts by all of the staff members at the brewery to keep things just perfect. You can enjoy a tour of the brewery, learning more about the way ales are made and the techniques used at Bath Ales. Please note however, that tours are by appointment only and also include beer tasting so may not be suitable for younger family members.

If during your Bath spa break you miss the brewery tour you can buy ales at the shop, which is open 6 days a week. Or you can choose to try your ale in the comfort of one of the 3 Bath Ales pubs in the city itself.
