Prior Park is one of Bath’s most beautiful attractions, and the happy screams of egg hunters will be filling its ground soon as the Easter trail delights children once again. Visitors to the historic piece of landscape will be able to hunt their way around the garden in a bid to claim a chocolate egg at the end.
The 18th century landscape garden is set above a sweeping valley and enjoys spectacular views over the city, and it’s a great setting for some family fun as the little ones can search for clues while the adults enjoy the scenery. It’s just £1.50 to take part in the trail, and normal admission charges will apply. The trail will take place between March 29 and April 1, and it’s a seasonal chance to enjoy the landscape gardens with a new twist.
Avoid a hunt for accommodation in Bath and book a room at the Grade II listed Royal Hotel. The hotel is an easy walk from Bath’s many central attractions so it’s perfect for those with children. With an ipod docking station, TV and WI-Fi available in every room as standard you’ll find plenty of ways to keep the younger members of the clan entertained while you relax and enjoy the surroundings.
