We stayed at The Royal Hotel in Bath for 2 nights in a corner room on the 3rd floor.
The location is sensational, right across from the train station and minutes from the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and all of the shops, restaurants, bars and river in Bath.
The hotel was built in 1846 and is full of character. There is a tiny lift for those that can’t manage the spiral staircase.
The restaurant has a good menu with lovely food.
The staff, especially Tim at the front desk are all very friendly and helpful.
Our room was large and comfortable with plenty of hanging space, drawers and a comfortable bed.
The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower.
Highly recommend.
