My wife and I have just enjoyed our 2nd Christmas holiday at the Royal. The 1st was ten years ago so we we’re hoping that the 2019 stay would match our first. Well full marks for maintaining the standards. The staff were as helpful as they could be. All the food, breakfast lunch and dinner, was great served by attentive staff. There was a bonus which I did not expect I had access to Netflix’s TV at no extra cost, not that we went to watch TV but when it’s raining what else can you do. The only down side is the limited parking spaces available. I realise this is something that probably cannot be improved upon, but don’t let it catch you out we booked up in April/May, for the Christmas break, and got the last space available.
