Second year of staying at the Royal Hotel. We had two rooms each very clean and comfortable. Always ensured a very good welcome especially from Timothy. We were allowed to leave our bags in safe storage, as we arrived early and again on the day we left so that we could have a look around without being burdened with bags. Very much appreciated. Food excellent, breakfast plentiful and served by lovely waiting staff. Didn’t eat in the Brasserie this year because it was full, but that was our fault we should have booked before. Had a lovely champagne cream tea as part of our classic spa package, delicious and generous in size, 2 lovely homemade scones each, jam, cream and tea of our choice. :0 Really can’t find any negatives about our stay, excellent value for money and we will be back….
