We stayed here a few years back and had a great time then. Using the Hotel’s spa package deal. Well this year as a surprise for my wife I booked us a mid week break, this time using their bed, breakfast and evening meal package. This was the first time that we’ve eaten in the hotel (apart from the breakfast last visit) and boy were we happy with the meals. The food was exceptional, full of flavours and perfectly cooked. The portions were not too large so that a full 3 courses did not leave you feeling ready to burst. Even after having had a cream tea (#JamFirst) and a couple of pre dinner cocktails. The staff, are possibly, the most helpful and polite we’ve come across in quite some time. From front of house staff to the chambermaids, everyone they were all happy to help. We will be back again, one day.
