I bought a deal on wowcher for 2 nights stay, breakfast both mornings, champagne, bottle of wine & dinnerboth nights, and cream tea, and was a bit unsure what to expect. I thought for the price I paid it might be a bit average, but cannot fault this hotel or deal in the slightest!
From the moment we arrived the staff were more than happy to help. We were able to park our car earlier than originally stated, and had a bath in the room as requested!
The room was really nice and had a variety of teas and coffee, as well as bottled water. The bathroom was also really big with all toiletries you needed.
We had dinner included both nights and was shocked that you could have any 3 courses on the whole a la carte menu, including the grill (we expected a set menu) and also got a choice of bottle of wine. As well as this we got a glass of champagne when we sat down! I had different food both nights and it was delicious!
The breakfast was the same, literally the biggest choice of hot food, pastries, cereals, fruit etc. the restaurant staff were also really helpful! The cream tea was also a lovely treat.
The location of the hotel is just perfect, it is more or less on top of the station, and about a 3 minute walk into the centre (by the Roman baths)
Honestly recommend this hotel to anyone, amazing, could not fault it at all!! Really made our stay!
